Freelance journalist working and studying in Zagreb currently.
I love to travel, meet new people and broaden my horizons. I can safely say as a globetrotter and MBA grad that the path to a pleasurable experience in an unfamiliar surroundings has to do with the vibe, the people you live with, not how modern your curtains look. I seek to host those who (and those usually turnout to be frequent travelers and art students:) appreciate accommodation which has soul, energy, spaciousness, feeling of freedom. Needless to say, my rooms meet the living standards and I am kind of a legalist-freak in that way. However, with minor modern adjustments I managed to preserve that soul, keeping some of my grandmother's 60s furniture combined with modern furniture necessary to work, sleep etc. The building is a 19th century protected site and I am happy I can give you the opportunity to feel like you are in a different, slower, relaxed time. |
